What inspired you to start your fitness journey?

I've been an athlete my whole life, but for me, movement goes deeper than numbers on a scoreboard. It's therapy, a rush of feelings, a triumphant "I did that" moment. I wanted more people to experience the raw power of movement, to feel how it transforms not just your body but your soul. There's nothing like it, and everyone deserves to tap into that strength.

How do you make your workouts fun and enjoyable?

Loud, fun music is my secret weapon—everything from country to rock to pop to hip-hop. My playlist is a rollercoaster of genres that keeps me pumped. And I always keep my attitude drenched in gratitude. Working out is a sweaty, precious privilege, and I never forget how lucky I am to move.

What’s your favorite way to unwind and recover after an intense workout?

I'm obsessed with deliberate cold exposure. My cold plunge is my sanctuary. The benefits are endless: it reduces inflammation, boosts mood, enhances recovery, and even sharpens mental focus. It's like hitting the reset button on my body and mind. Obsessed. It's been a game changer for me. 

What is your favorite type of workout and why?

Umm....I am a little biased here but My Burn method is my jam. BURN BY MANDY. It's a HIIT-style workout packed with strong, athletic moves like burpees and mountain climbers. Plus, it includes crucial physical therapy moves to keep me injury-free. In just 30-45 minutes, I get a full-body workout that leaves me feeling unstoppable.

What’s your current go-to pump up jam?

Sha-boozy's "A Bar Song" is my current obsession. It's got the perfect beat to get me in the zone and ready to crush my workout.

What’s a fitness myth you wish people would stop believing?

That heavy weights will bulk you up. It's such a myth! Lifting heavy helps you build lean muscle, boosts your metabolism, and makes you stronger without turning you into a Bulk Hulk. Trust the process—those weights are your friends.

Do you have a favorite fitness quote or mantra?

"Grow through what you go through." 

What’s something about you that might surprise your followers?

I've got a ridiculously unrelenting sweet tooth. I love chocolate, cookies, baked treats—you name it. I have something sweet every single day. Balance, right?

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting their fitness journey?

Consistency is key. Schedule your workouts like you schedule your other priorities. Write it in your calendar, block off that time, and protect it fiercely. It's your moment to shine.
